We invite you to an evening dedicated to open discussion and education about mental health in our community. Join us for exhibit tours of the Many Faces of Our Mental Health: 99 Faces Project with artist Lynda Cutrell and discussion with former NH Supreme Court Chief Justice, and current Senior Director of External Affairs John Broderick.
The evening will begin at 5:30 with light refreshments and an opportunity to visit tables from some of our partner organizations. We will be joined by the Dover Police Department Social Worker Kaitlin Jones who will introduce two, progressive programs launching in Dover this fall: the Adverse Childhood Experiences Response Team (ACERT) and the Just in Case program. ACERT Partner organizations such as Waypoint, Strafford County Public Health Network and Haven will be present as well.
Throughout the evening, we will explore the mental health challenges we are facing today, mental health challenges the youth of our community are facing, the state of mental health care in New Hampshire, the need for community response to address mental health in our community, and reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges and mental illness.
